2011 Supermum winner

Congratulations!

Many thanks to everyone who voted for our fantastic supermum finalists! We are delighted to announce that Gemma McLeod from Dumbarton has been crowned our Supermum of the Year 2011!

Mum to Lucy, 5 and Julie, 1, Gemma is currently battling secondary breast cancer and dealing with endless hospital trips whilst putting on a brave face to ensure she remains positive and happy for her two girls. Gemma wins a much deserved family break at one of three locations across the UK. Well done Gemma!

The voting was extremely close and our second placed mum is Emma Harris from Wiltshire.

Emma, who suffers Cystic Fibrosis and became mum to her little boy after 6 attempts at fertility treatment, copes with a major illness on top on the daily demands of bringing up a child. Emma wins a relaxing Champney’s spa day, well done!

Congratulations to all our supermum finalists, we were overwhelmed with the level of entries and the many emotional and inspiring stories of mums going above and beyond for their families. Well done to you all for reaching the final and we will be sending you a special pack of Milton goodies!
